You have fallen from Grace

You Have Fallen From Grace

Note to the reader: This is the filth installment in the series Back to the Basics which I began in December of 2025 after I heard in the Spirit "Back to the Basics" .

The above verse from Galatians is perhaps the most misquoted an misused verse of the Bible. The most common misuse is when someone well known has had a moral failure and they are referenced as someone who has fallen from grace. The problem; nothing could be further from the truth. Paul is not talking about a moral failure. Any attempt whether full or partial to find justification through the law puts you in the fallen from grace catagory.

The word estranged fits in with Pauls use of like words we discussed in my earlier blogs. This word estranged is unique in that it carries the idea of a relationship or connection being rendered ineffective or useless. This is the whole reason I am spending so much time on this topic.

Whether you are conciously or unconciosly seeking all or part of your jusftication through the adherance to the requirements of the law and this include anything from man made religion you are excluding yourself from what you have in Christ. Therefore you cannot function properly in Him or the kingdom.

You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. Gal. 5:4
